1889 Foundation provides ongoing financial support to Center for Population Health

The Center for Population Health (CPH) was developed, through funding and in collaboration with the 1889 Foundation, as a population health resource center to benefit Cambria and Somerset counties. 1889 Foundation supports Penn Highlands Scholarship Fund through Chef Auction

At this year’s annual Chef Auction, held in October, the 1889 Foundation provided a $15,000 donation to the Pennsylvania Highlands Community College Foundation to benefit the Supporting Scholars Fund and future culinary arts scholarships at the college. PRAA accepting applications for Creative Health Impact Grants

JOHNSTOWN – 1889 Foundation and Pennsylvania Rural Arts Alliance (PRAA) have once again partnered to foster connections between the arts and health and wellness in Cambria and Somerset counties via the 1889 Foundation Creative Health Impact Grant (CHIG). The Chef Auction to be presented by PA Highlands Community College to benefit their Supporting Scholars Fund!

The Chef Auction began more than 10 years ago to benefit our predecessor foundation. Now, 1889 Foundation has passed this wonderful event to the Pennsylvania Highlands Community College Foundation.
