The Path of the Flood Races consists of a half marathon, 12K and 5K, along the course of the historic 1889 flood (including the Staple Bend Tunnel, as pictured above). Set for May 26, the races mark their 5th anniversary this year! 1889 Foundation is proud to sponsor free youth (age 17 and under) registrations for the 12K and 5K, which is produced by the Johnstown Area Heritage Association and Cambria County Conservation & Recreation Authority.
