1889 Foundation has awarded full tuition scholarships to 10 students who successfully passed the Paramedic program at Conemaugh Memorial’s School of Emergency Medical Services.
The first class of paramedic students graduated in August 2022 and since then, 1889 Foundation has provided over $160,000 in full tuition scholarships for the paramedic and EMT programs.
Medical education and training is one of 1889 Foundation’s priority areas of focus and providing these full tuition scholarships is a vital part of helping to increase the number of paramedics and EMT’s that are needed in our communities.
