2024-2025 Annual Community Report

Investing Today for a Healthier Tomorrow

A Message from 1889 Foundation President

Real change happens when we address the root causes of health challenges and create opportunities for people to live healthier, longer lives. Together with our partners, 1889 is investing in prevention and innovation today to build a healthier, stronger community for tomorrow.

This past year, I’ve seen firsthand how partnerships, generosity, and vision are transforming lives across Cambria and Somerset Counties. From expanding safe and supportive spaces for our youth, to connecting people with critical resources, to helping students pursue their dreams in health care, the impact we are making together is truly inspiring.
