Cambria & Somerset Community Health & Human Services Summit was held at UPJ. Over 120 representatives from health & human services agencies gathered to hear updates on programs that were implemented over the past year and learned about barriers that still need to be addressed. Families R Us Back to School Bash
he final Families R Us event of the summer was held at the Greater Johnstown High School. Over 500 individuals attended the Back to School Bash, which also included the Balls over Bullets 3v3 basketball tournament.
Hyndman Area Health Center Mobile Dental/Health Unit
The Hyndman Area Health Center Mobile Dental/Health Unit was at the Coopersdale Community providing dental screenings
Small Town Hope
Small Town Hope held several wellness events over the summer at the Treehouse with an end of summer Health & Human Services Fair on August 15 that included 10 organizations providing plenty of resource information for those in attendance.
